What is "Ready, Study, Go"?

With its "Ready, Study, Go" project, TH Köln supports international students on their way to a successful degree, inspires them for a professional future in Germany and prepares them optimally for their career entry.

The Team International Degree-Seeking Students of the Department of International Affairs supports international students during their Student Life Cycle through various measures.

  • Web seminars accompany students in the introductory phase of their studies and provide important information on their first steps at TH Köln and in Germany, as well as on how to find accommodation and on the teaching and learning culture at the university.
  • The team's Buddy Program supports academic and social integration at TH Köln.
  • Information events and advice on student financing provide important information on securing the students‘ financial situation.
  • A certificate program supports international students both in developing academic skills and in increasing their employability. Successful participation is followed by personal career counseling.
  • A cooperative network for labor market integration, consisting of TH Köln, companies and organizations, establishes clear transition structures for international graduates into the German labor market.
  • Networking measures bring international students and companies in the Cologne metropolitan region into direct contact with each other and offer the opportunity to work in companies - during their studies and after graduation.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is funding the "Ready, Study, Go" project with funds from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) as part of the "FIT - Förderung internationaler Talente zur Integration in Studium und Arbeitsmarkt“ (Promoting Academic Success and Labour Market Integration of International Talents) program line.
