Integrated Water Resources Management MENA (Master's program) – Admission Requirements

There is a set of minimum admission requirements for the IWRM-MENA master’s program that all applicants have to fulfil.

  • Bachelor degree with a minimum grade of 3.0 (according to the German System with 1.0 the best grade and 4.0 the minimum passing grade)
  • Proof of a relation to the integrated water resources management through previous studies of a minimum of 15 ECTS
  • Proof of proficiency in English language NOT older than five years:
    - TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language, USA) of at least 79 points in the internet based version or at home version toefl.org
    - IELTS (International English Language Testing System, UK), band 6 in the academic version or indicator version ielts.org
    - Cambridge First (FCE) certificate cambridgeenglish.org
    Native English speakers have to prove that English was the language of instruction during their school and university education
  • Letter of the applicant’s study motivation (max. 500 words, in English)
  • research proposal (two pages, in English)

In addition to the above requirements, scholarship applicants must meet the requirements of the DAAD EPOS scholarship.
